Detailed Description

TYC 18139 is an intercooler designed for Ford Escape models from 2020 through 2024. The aluminum core supports heat transfer efficiency, while the crossflow layout helps route charge air through the core for cooling before it reaches the engine. With 56 mm inlet and outlet diameters and spring lock connections, this unit matches the connection style used on the listed Ford Escape fitment. This part cross-references Ford OE numbers FO3012130 and LX6Z-6K775-B for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Reduced charge-air cooling performance
• Damaged or leaking intercooler core
• Cracked or corroded aluminum cooling passages
• Connection issues at spring lock inlet or outlet fittings
• Fitment replacement needs on 2020-2024 Ford Escape models

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the inlet and outlet connection style, diameter, and core dimensions against the original unit before installation. Confirm vehicle application by year and model for the Ford Escape, and inspect adjacent charge-air plumbing, seals, and mounting points for wear or damage during replacement. Part number 18139 should be matched to the listed OE reference numbers when confirming application.
