Detailed Description

Beck Arnley 073-1660 is a front brake hydraulic hose made for select BMW 740i, BMW 740iL, and BMW 750iL models. It follows foreign nameplate OE specifications so the hose matches the intended routing and connection requirements for the application. This makes it a practical choice when replacing a worn or leaking front brake hose on 1993-2001 BMW 740i, 740iL, and 750iL vehicles.

This part cross-references Monroe Shocks & Struts (e.g., 172286, 182286) for the same application.

What It Helps Fix

• Brake fluid seepage at the front hose
• Soft or inconsistent brake pedal feel caused by hose wear
• Cracking, swelling, or deterioration in the hydraulic line
• Restricted fluid transfer to the front brake circuit
• Service replacement for aging original equipment hose assemblies

Installation Notes

Verify front position and exact vehicle fitment before installation. Inspect the brake line routing, banjo fittings, and adjacent hard lines for wear or corrosion during service. After installation, bleed the brake system according to BMW service procedures and check for leaks under pressure.
